New out of Ottawa say that Heatley has asked for a release from the Senators. He said he wants to play for a Western Conference team. No not the Ducks; the most likely candidates look to be Calgary, Los Angeles and maybe even....dare I say the Red Wings? It seems like everyone wants to jump on the championship bandwagon after a team sees success in the playoffs. So how come no one mentions the Pens?
The NHL vs Blackberry trial continues... I wish they would get this one over with. Either stay in AZ or go to Hamilton. I don't care, just let the season begin!
Anaheim Ducks extended Mike Brown's contract for I believe 2 years? Anyhow, I like Brown; He's tough, fast and is a play maker! (the knockout crush to Red Wings Hudler). Plus ever since I added him to my Ducks team on NHL09 PS2, we kick ass!!
