While reading other people's messages, I stumbled upon someone making the statement that someone has stopped following them, and then the question that follows is, "wonder what I did wrong?" Have we become so involved with ourselves that when someone stops paying attention to us, we somehow feel like we did something wrong, or we're no longer worthy of another person's attention. After all, isn't Twitter the ultimate in self promotion? There is an unwritten rule that if you want anything you post "Re-Tweeted" or RT, you must first do the same for others. After a while it all gets so silly and quite frankly annoying. In the end, if something really bothers you about Twitter, or any social networks for that matter, just turn it off. In the meantime, I'm going to go re -tweet other people's messages so they can RT mine!
