Knotts Scary Farm Update!!!!

My favorite and only Holiday is coming up (Halloween), and one of my favorite past times is attending the various amusement parks as they scare the pants off visiting guests. The top parks here in SOCAL with the best scare-attrations are Knotts Berry Farm and Universal Studios, with the Queen Mary providing some modest scares. Anyhow, I've been monitoring the updates from Universal Studios and their Halloween Horror Nights on Twitter and am looking forward to the surprises they have in store for their 2009 edition. I have not seen anything new in terms of Knotts Scary Farm so I went digging through the Internet and found over at Themeparkinsider a posting regarding the mazes for KSF (Knotts) this year. Take a look at the line up of new mazes and returning classics:

The GauntletBring out your dead! Through the plague-riddled streets of Camp Snoopy, the king ruthlessly rules his subjects through torture and cruelty. This malicious Medieval Faire features rat-eaten peasants, maniacal monks, and putrid pipers. Flee for your lives!

CarnEvilThe Boardwalk has taken an evil turn as gruesome carnival characters perform their bizarre side-shows and evil clowns show their true colors.

While I am excited about the London themed maze and the Dia de los muertos (Day of the dead), I am disappointed they have opted to keep the Labyrinth instead of the much better Vampires Layer. I will keep an eye out for more updates regarding Universal and Queen Mary, and regardless of what mazes make the cut or not, I always enjoy every night of October and this year won't be any different.
