So its almost been a week already since I pulled my calf muscle, and although it doesn't sound bad it hurts like a mother! Basically its a bad pull, or sprain that causes the calf muscle to pull away from the bone a little bit. Its minor enough so that it does not need surgery but severe enough where I am unable to run at all! I can walk, but its a slow deliberate walk. I have to wrap my calf for some support and mainly as a reminder for me not to get too brave.
anyhow, I've swam twice and that doesn't seem to bother my calf at all, so I'll do more of that as long as the weather is nice. I worked out at the gym today and did surprisingly well. Obviously no leg work, but I was able to do more than I thought.
That's all for now, I'm at 50%, as for softball my season is done until hopefully the new season in August.
